The Women's Rights Center

WRC'S STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS

Over the years the number of the WRC's staff has risen and it is now composed of a director, full time administrative assistant, educational program coordinator, two full time lawyers (one of them is also a coordinator of the shelter project) and four part time employees. There is also a part time coordinator of volunteers and a hotline operator. Yet another part time employee is responsible for the realization of our educational and publication programs.

There is also a large group of volunteers (about 30) cooperating with the WRC and some lawyers assisting the Center's clients. We are also helped by a group of interns from Warsaw University. The volunteers and interns receive professional training and their work is regularly supervised.

The staff of the WRC participated in two training sessions aimed at improving organizational and communication skills in order to integrate and motivate the staff to fulfill the mission of the WRC. We have also organized several training sessions concerning organizational issues.
